Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), disability income continuation, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Income continuation, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to financial advisors. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account and flexible spending account. Financial advisors enjoy flexibility in their schedule and, where required by applicable law, are eligible for paid sick leave and paid time off. Financial advisors may be eligible for bonuses; profit sharing; paid medical and parental leave for Financial Advisors that satisfy eligibility requirements; and participation in the firm's Travel Award Program. Compensation:

Skills/Requirements

Applicants must possess a minimum of one of the four qualifications outlined in the bullet points below:

  • Preference is given to candidates with a bachelor's degree, or those with comparable work experience in the securities/financial services industry

  • Verification, licensing, or certification of eligibility for financial services provision

Licensing:

  • SIE (which can be obtained without Firm sponsorship), Series 7 and Series 66 will be required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned paid study period.
  • Individuals are required to obtain FINRA registrations and state insurance licenses within three months of the application process.
  • Regular completion of training sessions conducted by the company and regulatory agencies like FINRA and the SEC, alongside mandatory continuing education stipulations, is imperative for associates to preserve the currency of their licenses.
