Warehouse Picker Order Selector Role Overview:

About the Role:

As a Warehouse Picker Order Selector, you will be responsible for accurately picking products by matching numbers and items using a voice audio headset. You will hand stack cases of product weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly, moving them from the floor to overhead. The job includes placing beverage products in a defined stacking pattern onto the pallet, hand shrink wrapping orders with labels, and moving completed orders to the loading dock area using electronic pallet jack or walkie-rider equipment. Additional duties may include general housekeeping in the warehouse and other tasks as assigned.

Shift and Schedule:

• The traditional full-time workweek consists of Monday through Friday
• The operational time frame is from 4:30 PM until the job is done
• It is necessary to have the adaptability to work extended hours and weekends as part of the role.

Apparatus suitable for your needs:

• An Electric Pallet Jack, commonly known as EPJ, is a motorized tool used for lifting and moving pallets within a warehouse or a similar setting
• Walkie Rider
• Voice Audio Headset
• Shrink Wrap

Key Responsibilities:

• Hand stacking and palletizing orders require individuals to manually stack and align items on pallets to ensure secure and orderly transportation of goods
• Managing EPJs and pallet jacks through the use of voice audio headset systems
• Making a decision and placing an order
• Utilizing shrink wrap to encase fulfilled requests
• Executing physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and conducting manual operations as required

Requirements:

• Sufficient physical stamina to stand, exert force, move items, flex the body, rotate, kneel, and carry loads for the entire shift
• Skilled in the action of raising objects weighing up to 50 lbs. from the floor to overhead
• Adeptness in working with a voice-operated order selector picking system
• Competence in the manual shrink wrapping of completed deliveries
• Comfortable with working in multi-temperature settings, whether hot or cold
