Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong relationships to bring in fresh clients through a mix of face-to-face and digital strategies like reaching out in person, connecting virtually, seeking referrals, engaging on social media, and participating in speaking opportunities.
  • By deeply comprehending the needs, priorities, and worries of clients and prospective clients, you can accelerate trust-building and design personalized, comprehensive strategies to aid them in attaining their goals.
  • Supervise branch activities, functions, and accountabilities to maintain a top-quality and efficient customer experience in line with firm policies, compliance requirements, and ethical considerations.
  • Work in tandem with the branch team to craft, oversee, and tweak the branch's business plan to bolster branch effectiveness and accomplish specified business objectives.
  • Create an interactive atmosphere within the branch built on trust, respect, continuous feedback, and a strong sense of individual and collective accountability.

Compensation:

We acknowledge the significant time and effort it takes to build a business, which is why we have launched a new financial advisor compensation program. The updated financial advisor compensation program includes initial training compensation, supplementary salary for up to five years, commissions, and rewards for accumulating new assets within the first five years.

Skills/Requirements

Aspirants need to fulfill the requirements of at least one of the four qualifications bullets listed:

  • Having a bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, or having relevant work experience in the securities/financial services industry is also considered
  • Candidates should have experience in financial services and sales
  • Verification, licensing, or certification of eligibility for financial services provision
  • Advancing in a professional or military career requires a combination of hard work, perseverance, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges

Licensing:

  • Candidates must have finished the SIE exam, Series 7, and Series 66 to be eligible for a position at Edward Jones, and they can attain these registrations during the period allocated for studying, for which they will be paid.
  • Obtaining FINRA registrations and state insurance licenses is a requirement that must be fulfilled within three months.
  • Associate roles mandate the undertaking of continual training opportunities presented by the company, as well as mandatory CE coursework required by regulatory bodies like FINRA and the SEC to ensure licensure remains valid.
