Job Description for Warehouse Resource Manager:

Responsibility for overseeing and coordinating the tasks of employees engaged in material ordering, picking, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping within a warehouse or yard falls under the purview of the Warehouse Resource Manager.

Requirements for Warehouse Resource Manager:

• The preference is for individuals who have a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated leadership expertise in warehouse or distribution center operations over a three-year period.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for a duration of two years.
• A track record of 24 months working with data related to procedures, pinpointing areas for enhancement, and offering suggestions for betterment.

Position Responsibilities for Warehouse Resource Manager:

• Control the direction, alignment, and review of warehouse processes.
• Validate the proper execution and implementation of all policies and procedures linked to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Guide and appraise warehouse staff on best practices for inventory management and their daily tasks.
• Regulate stock quantities to prevent losses and uphold inventory management standards.
• Validate inventory quantities by physically counting stock and comparing the results with inventory records.
• Manage the scheduling and direction of warehouse team members within budgetary confines, effectively meeting the demands of the facility.
• Maintain the proper functioning of equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and company vehicles through regular upkeep and adherence to inspection guidelines.
