Key Responsibilities

  • Establish strong relationships to bring in fresh clients through a mix of face-to-face and digital strategies like reaching out in person, connecting virtually, seeking referrals, engaging on social media, and participating in speaking opportunities.
  • Establish trust more rapidly and craft tailored, all-encompassing strategies by gaining a profound understanding of the needs, priorities, and concerns of clients and potential clients to help them achieve their goals.
  • Regulate branch operations, roles, and obligations to uphold a high-level, seamless customer service experience aligned with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Partner with the branch team to create, monitor, and adapt the branch's operational plan to enhance branch effectiveness and achieve the desired business results.
  • Nurture an engaging branch climate where trust, respect, constructive feedback, and individual accountability are consistently upheld.

The firm ranked No. 14 on Training magazine's prestigious 2023 Training APEX awards listed by Training magazine. 2023 Training Magazine Training Apex Award, published February 2023, date as of September 2022, an application fee was required for consideration² As your new asset compensation and commissions increase over the first five years, salary will decrease

Benefits:

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), disability income continuation, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Income continuation, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to financial advisors. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account and flexible spending account. Financial advisors enjoy flexibility in their schedule and, where required by applicable law, are eligible for paid sick leave and paid time off. Financial advisors may be eligible for bonuses; profit sharing; paid medical and parental leave for Financial Advisors that satisfy eligibility requirements; and participation in the firm's Travel Award Program. Compensation:

We acknowledge the significant time and effort it takes to build a business, which is why we have launched a new financial advisor compensation program. This program is structured to support and reward your progress as you develop the skills, processes, and business practices necessary to thrive in our client-centered business model. The updated financial advisor compensation program includes initial training compensation, supplementary salary for up to five years, commissions, and rewards for accumulating new assets within the first five years.

Skills/Requirements

Candidates are required to meet the criteria of at least one of the four qualifications mentioned in the bullets provided:

  • It is highly recommended that candidates have a bachelor's degree, or possess equivalent professional background in the securities/financial services sector
  • Candidates should have experience in financial services and sales
  • Getting licensed or registered for conducting financial operations
  • Climbing the ranks in a professional or military career showcases a track record of success and a commitment to excel in one's chosen field

Licensing:

  • SIE (which can be obtained without Firm sponsorship), Series 7 and Series 66 will be required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned paid study period.
  • Within a stipulated three-month period, individuals are expected to procure FINRA registrations and state insurance licenses.
  • Engaging in ongoing training programs organized by the firm and regulatory bodies such as FINRA and the SEC, in addition to fulfilling mandatory CE requirements, is crucial for associates to uphold the validity of their licenses.
