About the Role:

Zipcar has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). This strategic and analytical role plays a critical part in connecting Zipcar’s operational performance with its financial outcomes, helping drive informed decisions for growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee Zipcar’s operating expenses, with full financial ownership of results.
• Deliver structured, accurate, and insightful analysis on key financial and business metrics.
• Develop monthly forecasts, annual business plans, and evaluate strategic financial initiatives.
• Partner with executive leadership to present financial results, drivers, and variances vs. plan and forecast.
• Advise on ROI and financial impacts of strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.
• Model P&L line items related to business operations.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and support cross-functional business projects with financial insights.
• Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts.

What Drives Success in This Role:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related quantitative field (MBA a plus).
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in corporate finance; background in auto or supply chain is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling expertise; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Oracle Financial Suite, and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with SQL, R, Python, or Alteryx is a bonus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities; can manage multiple priorities effectively.
